Associate Director Pre-Award Services

Leads the pre-award unit for KU Research/KUCR; key contact for all proposal development, submissions, policies, federal and non-federal electronic grants systems to assure that KU employees are compliant with university, state, federal, and sponsor regulations related to sponsored project submissions; sets university priorities and establishes procedures for the effective and efficient review of proposals prior to submission to external agencies in compliance with federal, state, university, and agency guidelines.

Functional Systems Manager

The Functional Systems Manager of Research Systems Support reports to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and has the overall responsibility for the KUOR-administered systems, including maintaining user access to the system and system data, technical infrastructure, system budget, and system-related project management teams. This position requires close collaboration with the KUOR senior leadership team and plays a key role in developing a strategic infrastructure, application, and data plans to achieve the objectives of the Vice Chancellor Office of Research.
