The New York Academy of Sciences 2018 Blavatnik Awards

|Limit on Number of Proposals:||One in Life Sciences, One in Physical Sciences and Engineering, One in Chemistry for a total of 3- KU-L and KUMC: Considered independent organizations.|
The national faculty competition of the Blavatnik Awards for Young Scientists recognizes the country’s most promising young faculty-rank scientists and engineers in the National Discipline categories of Life Sciences, Physical Sciences & Engineering, and Chemistry. Institutional nominations of candidates for the national faculty competition must be submitted by the institution’s President, Provost, or the President’s official designee.
One Blavatnik Laureate from each disciplinary category will receive $250,000 in unrestricted funds and be published in Annals of the New York Academy of Sciences on the topic for which he/she is being honored.
To be eligible, a candidate must:
Young Scientists who feel they meet the listed eligibility requirements must contact their Department Chair, Dean, or Director to indicate interest in being nominated
